Large manufacturing company is targeting a Mechanical Engineer for their production facility in the Chicago IL area. Qualified candidates will have hands-on mechanical maintenance and process improvement experience in heavy industry.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical training preferred.

responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment and machinery to identify any potential issues or areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure maximum uptime and productivity. Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues as they arise.
- Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Mechanical design work, drawings and calculations, as it relates to the repair or improvement of our
existing assets or execution of capital project investments. - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
