responsibilities:
- Sample Accessioning:
- Responsible for the accessioning of genotyping samples.
- Follows laboratory procedures for specimen handling, preparation, and data entry in DPS or LIMS.

- Completes work with high accuracy and quality, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Properly documents batch records and reports any deviations that occur during processing.

- Laboratory Efficiency:
- Highly productive, organized, and efficient in the lab environment.
- Maintains lab supplies, consumables, and reagents; ensures the lab is stocked with appropriate materials.
- Conducts daily/weekly/monthly maintenance schedules to keep equipment in proper working order.

- Troubleshooting and Issue Escalation:
- Performs basic troubleshooting and recognizes when to escalate issues in the lab.
- Communicates equipment issues to engineering through a ticketing system.

- Becomes proficient with automated technologies used in genotyping accessioning.
- Ability to perform sample send-back processes, including PRG, DDP plate(s), and Embark plate(s).
