Plant Engineering Manager based near Rutledge, GA for a leading manufacturing company. This role is expected to strategically manage the facilities and maintenance teams.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is ideal)
- Must have at least three (3) years experience managing maintenance preventative initiatives
- Experience in a leadership capacity in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication or production control environment
- Electrical controls background
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S and/or 6 Sigma experience

responsibilities:
- Maintain a roadmap of planned and potential plant improvement initiatives
- Responsibility for the implementation and scheduled review of site projects and plans
- Provides site leadership and supervision for site engineering, instrumentation and controls, and overall performance
- Responsible for delivering increased site capacity through leadership, capital projects and continuous improvement.
- Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime and to identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead the controls and operating system strategy for plant equipment
- Manages equipment maintenance requests
