Required:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Previous experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines 2+
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes, measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers), and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and machine setup sheets; understanding of CNC programming basics.

responsibilities:
- Operates, cleans, and maintains CNC machines and shop equipment as directed.
- Ensures parts meet specifications for customer satisfaction.
- Verifies settings by measuring workpiece specifications.
- Maintains specifications by:
- Observing operations like drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing.
- Taking measurements and detecting malfunctions.
- Troubleshooting, adjusting, and reprogramming controls.
- Sharpening and replacing worn tools.
- Following quality assurance procedures.
- Observing operations like drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing.
- Adheres to production schedules and machine operations.
- Documents inspection, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and other data as directed.
- Stays updated through educational opportunities and technical publications.
- Suggests and seeks process improvements proactively.
- Participates in safety training, follows safety policies, and maintains a clean work area.
- Communicates with supervisors/managers, following work rules and company programs.
- Creates and/or reviews setup sheets to determine the best setup procedure, machining sequence, and quality requirements.
