Our client, a leading company in the entertainment industry, is seeking a Civil Engineer specializing in water resources. Key qualifications include 5+ years of experience in municipal, consulting, or a related field; proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D), Revit, Adobe Acrobat, or Bluebeam Revu; and a background in hydrology and hydraulics (open-channel flow, pipelines, and flood mitigation). A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.

responsibilities:
This role involves conducting fieldwork to assess utilities infrastructure, optimizing waterway systems, and guiding consultants in the development of civil studies, reports, and construction documentation. Responsibilities include reviewing hydrologic and hydraulic engineering studies, developing concept designs and RFPs, analyzing contract documents, and ensuring all designs meet applicable standards with a focus on efficiency and maintainability. The candidate will participate in site visits, resolve design challenges, and collaborate across disciplines to support project success. They will also enforce design guidelines, liaise with city officials to ensure compliance, and occasionally serve as the Engineer of Record, signing and sealing construction documents.
