Our client, a leader in the manufacturing of packaging solutions, is seeking a Packaging Test Engineer. Key qualifications include 3+ years of laboratory experience, ideally in conducting product/packaging testing. A Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, industrial design or packaging technology is required.

responsibilities:
The role involves conducting package and material tests per industry standards (ISTA, ASTM) and customer specifications, completing test reports, and maintaining records per company standards. Responsibilities include managing technical documentation, ensuring test equipment calibration, and renewing ISTA certification and ISO 17025 accreditation. The position supports R&D in developing new test processes, designs, and materials while overseeing laboratory equipment and producing testing fixtures as needed.
