An Injection Molding Process Engineer is needed for a Swiss-American pharmaceutical and medical device company specializing in eye care products in the Houston, TX area. The role involves developing, optimizing, and validating injection molding processes for medical device components, leveraging scientific principles and collaborating across teams to ensure quality and compliance.

responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain optimal molding processes for medical device components.
- Implement injection molding processes using decoupled scientific molding principles.
- Execute projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Improve and troubleshoot operational issues in the molding department.
- Perform validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, following company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical reports and deliver effective presentations.
- strong project management abilities.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in technical writing and presenting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across departments and with customers.
- Develop and sustain optimum molding process for medical manufacturing device components.
- Develop injection molding process per the decouple scientific principles.
- Execution and validation of IQ/OQ/PQ.
- RJG or Paulson Certification for Injection Molding.
- Engineering Degree a plus.
- 10+ Year in Plastic Manufacturing Industry.
