A Process Engineer specializing in water and wastewater treatment systems is needed to join a dynamic food processing company. The role involves driving innovative engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and tackling emerging pollutant challenges. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, be responsible for water treatment systems design, contribute to permitting processes, and create key project documentation.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on water or wastewater treatment and possess at least 5+ years of relevant experience. A background in biological treatment design and collaboration with multi-disciplinary project teams is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience designing water or wastewater systems for poultry or protein processing, though related industrial experience will also be considered. This role requires the flexibility to travel up to 50%, depending on project needs.

- Lead and oversee water/wastewater engineering design projects for food production plants
- Provide design criteria and review external engineering designs for compliance and accuracy
- Develop feasibility studies, design documents, and cost estimates for treatment systems
- Support permitting with local, regional, and federal agencies
- Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams and interact with clients and regulatory bodies
- Oversee field investigations and provide construction support services
