A leading supplier of track maintenance, and infrastructure optimization services is looking to add a Electical Engineer II to their team. This is a direct hire opportunity located in the greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.
This person will be a key contributor to the design and development of electromechanical systems, working under the guidance of senior engineers or managers. This role involves leading subsystem design within larger projects or managing complete electrical system development for smaller initiatives. The Engineer II collaborates across disciplines, provides technical direction to junior staff, supports customers, and ensures the delivery of high-quality solutions.

- Proficient with 2D and 3D CAD
- Experience in a manufacturing environment working with automated industrial machines and or systems.

responsibilities:
- Analyze product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine possible design improvements.
- Prepare product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
- Prepare and compile necessary calculations to support product designs.
- Compile and analyze operational, test, and research data to help establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment or product.
- Analyze test data and reports to help determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
- Design and integrate industrial power distribution systems from 480VAC generator power down to secondary voltages.
- Design and integrate industrial automation and control systems
