A Lab Technician is needed for a company that manufactures, sells, and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the Atlanta, GA area. This role involves conducting technical research procedures, analyzing data, and managing laboratory operations, including equipment use, literature reviews, and supply procurement, under minimal supervision.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior laboratory personnel to determine procedures and techniques for research projects.
- Recommend and implement modifications to existing procedures as needed.
- Conduct specialized tests and procedures using complex laboratory equipment.
- Procure and manage supplies and materials required for laboratory research.
- Perform literature reviews to gather abstracts and relevant information for research purposes.
- Analyze data, make statistical calculations, and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings.
- Oversee the care of research animals, including minor surgeries and specimen collection (if applicable).
- Order supplies and materials necessary for experiments and research activities.
- Proficient knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, materials, and substances.
- Skilled in operating laboratory equipment, performing statistical analyses, and preparing detailed reports.
