A Procurement Manager is needed for a world leader in medical devices that seeks to offer innovative solutions in neurosurgery, and reconstructive and general surgery in the Princeton, NJ area. The Procurement Manager supports the organization's sourcing and procurement activities by analyzing data, managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.

responsibilities:
- Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and supplier performance issues.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing benchmarks.
- Support supplier selection, performance evaluations, and relationship management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiations, alternative sourcing options, and process improvements.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers, including terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Prepare reports on supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing activities for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, finance, operations, and legal, to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies.
- strong analytical skills and experience with tools such as Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations.

- Proficiency in sourcing tools and technologies.
- Experience with strategic sourcing or category management is preferred.

- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
