Top Engineering Firm seeks a Civil Site Engineer in Houston, TX. This person will work within a multi-discipline team to design and develop detailed site plans for substations, including grading, drainage, and stormwater. Ideal candidates will have a bachelors degree from an ABET accredited program and 3 years of relevant civil site grading experience.

responsibilities:
- Design and develop detailed site plans for substations, including grading, drainage, and stormwater management systems.
- Perform calculations for cut and fill, stormwater runoff, and soil stability to support site preparation.
- Prepare erosion control and support generation of stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) in compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Design and develop detailed gravel access road design for substation access.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce site grading designs and drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, and environmental teams to align site designs with project requirements.
- Support geotechnical investigations and survey to ensure project design requirements are captured.
- Prepare technical reports, construction specifications, and material takeoffs.
- Coordinate with construction and project management to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, maintaining a focus on timely and cost-effective delivery.
