Staff Civil Engineer needed in Joliet IL.The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on construction projects supporting our Transportation group. Most of the project work would be construction management as an owner representative for clients such as IDOT, the Illinois Tollway and CDOT. Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in Engineering from an ABET accedited program. EIT classification is strongly preferred.

responsibilities:
- strong knowledge in standard civil engineering techniques and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)
- strong computer skills (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), Civil 3D, PLS, PLS-CADD, RISA-3D, MathCADD), and/or hydraulic, hydrologic, pavement, civil analysis programs.
- strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Engineers in Training-EIT Certification Preferred.
