Requirements:
- Required Experience: Programming paint robots using offline programming software or equivalent.
- Technical school degree or equivalent work experience (2 years minimum).
- Experience in:
- Automated robotic paint shop applications.
- Digital Engineering processes.
- Automated robotic paint shop applications.
- Additional certifications in related fields (preferred).
- multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
- A creative problem-solver who thrives on challenges and can strategize for improved outcomes.
- Initiative and proactive recommendations for project enhancements, product improvements, or cost reductions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

responsibilities:
- Develop offline robot programs for robotic production processes in a paint shop environment.
- Coordinate with Regional Paint Engineers to conduct studies, trials, and evaluations focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Support the Paint DE group by:
- Developing reach studies and cycle time analyses for sealer, UBC, and dampening coat robot processes.
- OR developing reach studies and cycle time analyses for primer, base, clear, and interior robot processes.
- Developing reach studies and cycle time analyses for sealer, UBC, and dampening coat robot processes.
- Lead meetings with related teams and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Provide on-site plant support across the US, Mexico, and Canada as needed (travel subject to restrictions).
- Report to the Digital Engineering Manager.
