Industrial Controls Technician needed for an immediate 3 month contract role in the Greensboro, NC area to assist with the development, construction, and maintenance of our customers' industrial control systems.
This is a great opportunity for a junior-level automation technician to assist with designing, developing, and maintaining industrial control systems for our clients.
The ideal candidate for this role must possess superior skills in problem-solving, critical-thinking, time management, and communication.
Seeking AS in Electrical Engineering or HS diploma with 1-2 years of related experience Measuring, Testing with use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, hand tools, a natural engineering curiosity and the ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and installation specifications.

responsibilities:
- Measuring and arranging back panels and enclosures.
- Installing components to back panels and enclosures
- Proper routing and bundling of wire and cables per standards
- Point-to-point wiring of various industrial controls and equipment
- Maintain redline markups of drawings for changes during fabrication
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of a customer's control systems and related equipment.
- Associate of Science (A.S) or certificate in electronics, instrumentation, or electrical engineering is preferred, but HS education w/ 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and installation specifications
- Competent with the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and hand tools
- Ability to output high-quality work with attention to detail
- Ability to work on a team that must meet aggressive deadlines.
