Our client is seeking a Quality Control Inspector who will ensure company standards of quality for furniture products during all stages of production and who will evaluate furniture pieces for defects, durability, safety, and finish, ensuring that every item meets company and industry standards.
Required:
- Knowledge of furniture production processes and materials, including wood, metal, and upholstery.
- attention to detail with the ability to identify and address defects.
- Excellent organizational skills for tracking and documenting inspection results.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Epicor experience

responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials, in-process furniture, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct detailed visual and physical assessments of furniture to identify defects, flaws, or discrepancies in materials, construction, and finish.
- Measure dimensions and verify structural integrity to meet durability and performance criteria.
- Test the functionality of components such as drawers, hinges, and recliners to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Record inspection results, detailing defect types and severity, and generate reports for the production team.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform random sampling and spot checks to monitor consistency in production quality.
- Ensure all furniture products comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes and product designs.
- Assist in training new staff in quality control procedures and standards.
