A Manufacturing Engineer for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Chandler, AZ area. The role involves supporting yield sustainment during a manufacturing transfer of surgical device processes, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems, improving production yields, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple sites.

responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot simple electrical and mechanical systems to resolve issues.
- Investigate yield drops and trace back to point of origin.
- Develop and implement countermeasures to stabilize and improve yields.
- Address damage to devices or sub-components during remanufacturing.
- Support the transition to a split-process manufacturing workflow.
- Device receiving, identification, and sorting by model.
- Disassembly prior to cleaning.
- Cleaning, assembly, functional testing, and packaging.
- Coordination with sterilization processes.
- strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Background in continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team settings.
- Experience with analyzing and improving production yields.
