A Quality Engineer is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science. Remote work. This role focuses on standardizing quality engineering systems, driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing supplier quality, and supporting validation, audits, and new product launches to deliver high-quality, compliant products efficiently.

responsibilities:
- Support standardization of quality engineering systems, architecture, and specifications across division manufacturing facilities.
- Streamline validation processes to ensure timely delivery of conforming, compliant products.
- Perform problem-solving and root cause analysis (e.g., CAPAs, SCARs) to address nonconformances and ensure supply continuity.
- Conduct supplier audits to meet quality requirements.
- Drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement with suppliers.
- Conduct internal, division, customer, and third-party audits as required.
- Actively support new product launches, including supplier selection, qualification, and product validation.
- Expertise in manufacturing process documentation integration while meeting regulatory requirements.
- strong understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency with software for data collection, analysis, and project management (e.g., ERP, eQMS, Excel, R, Minitab, JMP).
- Effective communicator with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead projects, manage conflicts, and influence teams without direct authority.
- Proficient in change management and decision-making based on data insights.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or statistical fields.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing quality or related engineering experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in validation applications.
- In-depth knowledge of industry requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21 CFR part 820, EU IVDR/MDR).
