A Project Manager is needed for a world leader in medical devices that seeks to offer innovative solutions in neurosurgery, and reconstructive and general surgery in the Mansfield, MA area. This role will lead cross-functional teams to deliver value stream optimization projects in a medical device or manufacturing environment, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver value stream optimization projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage small, independent projects or specific workstreams within large, complex programs.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve productivity.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address issues proactively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, product development, process technology, and supply chain teams.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.
- Solve problems encountered within projects and ensure timely resolution.
- Assign and track key project activities while communicating industry standards and best practices.
- strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, certification preferred.
- strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with product development processes in medical devices preferred.
- Understanding of product design and qualification principles within the medical device industry.

- Ability to create and maintain project schedules, allocate resources, and communicate progress to team members and senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
- 2-5 years of experience in project management within manufacturing, preferably medical devices or FDA-regulated industries.
- PMP certification preferred.
