An Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in the Denver, CO area. This role involves designing, modeling, and testing machines, structures, or systems, while ensuring functionality, quality, and efficiency through simulations, prototypes, and evaluation of overall performance, cost, reliability, and safety.

responsibilities:
- Design, model, and develop machines, structures, or systems according to functional requirements.
- Create simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and operational performance.
- Design and test individual components.
- Integrate components to produce the final product.
- Monitor product quality throughout the design and testing phases.
- Control the efficiency of processes involved in production.
- Evaluate designs for overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
- Investigate root causes of failures to maintain product quality.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance design functionality and performance.
- strong understanding and application of standard engineering principles.
- Ability to create and analyze simulations, prototypes, and test results.
- Focus on quality control, efficiency, and safety throughout the design and development process.
