Our client above Morristown, NJ is looking to add an Electronic Assembly Lead to their team for a contract to hire opportunity. Candidates will need at least 3 years of electronic assembly experience as well as a High School Diploma. This work includes SMT, Sensors, Hand/Final Assembly, Soldering, and leading a team so leadership experience is required. If you have any experience with inventory management tools such as Mini Market, Kanban, or Pours, this experience is highly preferred. responsibilities:
- Schedule, organize, and oversee work within the department.
- Complete tasks within the designated time frame and inform the supervisor of any deviations from the time standard during the process.
- Maintain physical inventory within the work cell.
- Complete job-related paperwork, ensuring accurate recording of labor and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment and tooling, keeping them in safe and efficient working condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Assist assemblers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
- Coordinate and manage cross-training according to the product's skills matrix documentation.
