responsibilities:
- Track and control costs for assigned projects.
- Review and track invoices and contractor Time & Material (T&M) tickets.
- Administer and maintain project change control documentation.
- Perform data entry for various reporting activities.
- Provide support for project cost control tasks as needed.
- Serve as a support role to the primary project cost controller or work independently with management oversight.
- Prioritize tasks and complete work punctually.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with management and project teams.
- strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and monitor engineering and construction contracts.
- Proficiency in cost control methodologies and cost forecasting.
- Competency in basic computing skills and Excel spreadsheets.
- Knowledge or experience with SAP (preferred but not required).
- Understanding of project scheduling concepts.
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Higher education degree or several years of experience in Construction/Project Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Certifications from PMI or AACE are desirable.
