A world leader in engineering is seeking a lead Structural Engineer to join its team on exicting power projects.
This position is open in 75 offices nationwide, including Houston, TX. Candidates should be within 50 miles of an office for this hybrid role. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates as well.
As a lead Structural Engineer, you will handle designs for foundations and support on energy projects (substations, transmission lines, etc). You should be well versed in structural support and foundation work for these types of projects and be able to lead the engineering design team. You must understand how to design overhead transmission lines using PLS CADD software. The Structural Engineer will handle calculations and make recommendations for equipment and materials, ensure safety standards are being met, oversee quality and ensure the project is meeting scheduling and budget benchmarks.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, and a Professional Engineering license (PE). Knowledge and experience with PLS CADD is required.
