A Inventory and Warehouse Management Professional is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. This role involves managing material functions, including procurement, inventory, logistics, and compliance, to support the construction project, ensuring efficient operations, accurate documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards.

responsibilities:
- Direct physical counting and inspection of arriving materials.
- Review and prepare purchase order documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
- Audit Material Receiving Reports (MRRs) for accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure corrective actions and formal reporting of unsatisfactory or damaged materials.
- Supervise material storage and maintain accurate storage records (manual or automated).
- Oversee physical inventories to ensure continuous record validity.
- Support material protection programs and manage custody of project materials.
- Dispose of surplus materials as directed by project management.
- Prepare shipping documents and maintain registers for shipped materials.
- Develop jobsite instructions for work procedures and train assigned employees.
- Maintain control registers for industrial gas bottles and returnable reels/containers.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain construction equipment and tool inventory records.
- Administer property control programs and comply with property management standards.
- Complete tasks required by Government Property Management Manual and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties to support Supplier Quality and Materials Management Department.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Construction Management and 1 year of related experience.
- OR: High school diploma and 7 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized experience in construction material management.
- Proficiency in shipping, receipt, storage, and issue of construction materials.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, BPS, or other material management systems.
- Experience managing on-site inventories, consignments, and service contractors.
- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and related policies.
- Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification through NPMA.
