An Engineering Technician Senior is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Lenexa, KS area. This role focuses on supporting configuration management processes by maintaining engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with standards, managing data in PLM systems, and collaborating with teams to improve workflow accuracy and efficiency.

responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage data within a Product Life Management (PLM) system.
- Review configuration management documentation standards for accuracy and consistency.
- Follow and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and processes.
- Participate in Change Review Board (CRB) meetings.
- Collaborate with Engineering staff and internal department associates.
- Support internal audits related to Configuration Management processes.
- Review documentation for data accuracy within the workflow process.
- Ensure Engineering staff follow department practices and procedures.
- Product Life Management (PLM) systems.
- Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP).
- Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook Email).
- Adobe Acrobat.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- With a minimum of 2 years in technical documentation.
