An Inventory Specialist is needed for a company that manufactures, sells, and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the Apopka, FL area. The SAP PM Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day inventory of engineering and maintenance parts, ensuring accurate inventory control through SAP, coordinating with vendors, and supporting maintenance activities through parts distribution, kitting, and record-keeping.

responsibilities:
- Oversee all inventory and storeroom activities for the maintenance and engineering department.
- Work with the planner to coordinate parts supplier activities and strengthen vendor relationships.
- Maintain records of physical counts, receipts, adjustments, and returns to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Handle all shipping and receiving of PM parts and equipment, ensuring proper storage of items in designated locations.
- Ensure all parts and equipment are correctly binned, and the inventory database reflects accurate bin locations.
- Process the return of canceled or damaged items to suppliers.
- Ensure spare parts are maintained within established minimum and maximum levels.
- Classify materials using SAP S4 HANA concepts and define suitable attributes (characteristics).
- Create and standardize class and characteristic master templates and classify materials as OEM, general, or consumable spares.
- Assist in maintaining maintenance plans and adding new equipment as required.
- Proficiency in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and inventory management systems.
