We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for an immediate direct hire opportunity in Stratford, CT. With 3+ years of project-based civil engineering experience, particularly in land development, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. responsibilities:
- Applies advanced civil engineering expertise to perform a wide range of project tasks.
- Implements design best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Conducts and reviews analysis and design calculations, and prepares plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Develops and finalizes construction documents in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Oversees construction administration activities, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules.
- Works independently under the guidance of the Project Manager, following established engineering standards.
- Communicates directly with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Assigns tasks to appropriate technical staff to ensure efficient project execution.
- Mentors and guides junior engineers to support their professional development.
- Performs additional duties as needed to ensure project success.
