responsibilities:
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., MicroStation V8i/v10, AutoCAD, OpenPlant) to create and modify technical drawings and designs.
- Apply utility design and construction standards to ensure compliance.
- Analyze and interpret maps, blueprints, surveys, sketches, and project scope requirements.
- Select materials and components based on project specifications.
- Understand and apply departmental standards, procedures, and job aids for plans, maps, and specifications.
- Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and leadership for project management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenPlant).
- Knowledge of GIS software and utility operations.

- Proficiency in MS Windows applications.

- Technical or Engineering Associate Degree (or equivalent experience).
