We are searching for a Project Engineer in the Kansas City, KS area to work for an employee owned company that engineers cooling towers for industrial facilities. This is a direct hire role that provides great benefits, profit sharing and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

responsibilities:
- Perform routine engineering assignments that require basic engineering principles.
- Prepare reports, calculations, specifications and drawings using industry and company standards.
- Complete all required design documents for new cooling tower projects.
- Establish, maintain, and improve engineering standards and tools.
- Willingness to learn design with all materials of construction, including fiberglass, lumber, steel and concrete.
- Review, evaluate and comply with OSHA regulations and applicable building codes.
- Support and develop continuous product improvement, including new ideas and methods for cost reduction and engineering innovation.
