A Project Engineer is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. The Project Engineer will lead oversees cross-functional teams to develop, qualify, and certify aircraft interiors, managing cost, schedule, and technical objectives while ensuring compliance and acting as the primary customer contact.

responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional engineering team to develop, qualify, certify, and integrate aircraft interiors.
- Ensure the project meets cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
- Manage and track requirements, compliance deliverables, and validation/verification of system-level requirements.
- Document key program activities, including risk management, earned value, resource management, decisions, action items, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure development activities comply with the Program Development Plan, Standard Work, and applicable procedures.
- Work cross-functionally with program management, design engineering, certification authorities, and other team members.
- Develop elegant and reliable solutions.
- Manage costs, schedules, and risks associated with the program.
- Perform critical path analysis to ensure timely project completion.
- Implement work-around plans when necessary to meet deadlines.
