Permanent Position: A Product Engineer with 7+ years of experience in Automation and Industrial Controls is needed in Cumming, GA. The Product Engineer oversees all aspects of of the products in the area of PLC-based motion control, ac servos, steppers, and encoders. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage projects independently, meet deadlines and have excellent interpersonal skills.

responsibilities:
- Product evaluation and testing for industrial control & automation market
- Support for new product introductions, design involving PLCs (IEC 61131-3 and PLCopen), servos, steppers, encoders and industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT).
- Projects to support agency approvals such as UL, CSA, RoHS
- Supplier evaluation for product support capabilities
- Some scheduled domestic and international travel is required
