Unique opportunity to work at a design center for a company that manufactures its own product. We're seeking a degreed Civil Engineer who wants to pursue structural design and analysis. You should have a BS Civil Engineering, proven structural coursework, and your EIT (or taking the FE soon). You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as leadership potential. Note: you must be able to work in the United States without present or future visa sponsorship. responsibilities:
- Generate designs
- Design projects with accuracy and within given timeframes
- Manage projects through effective communication and documentation with leadership, customers, and teammates
- Check and seal the work of teammates; ask for checking and sealing of your work from teammates
- Assist in project meetings, estimating, and R&D as requested
- MS or BS Civil or Structural Engineering
- 1+ yr civil / structural work experience
- EIT certification
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- 3+ structural courses
- strong communication skills, team-player mindset, and leadership qualities
