Our client, an industry leader in defense and diversified technologies, is looking for a Fuel Systems Engineer that will be responsible for designing fluid systems for aircraft- hydraulic systems or fuel systems. Key qualifications include: 3 or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 2 or more years of experience with a master's degree, or 1 or more years with a PhD. The candidate should be able to obtain DOD security clearance. Annual bonus opportunity, and relocation assistance are available for the right candidates.

responsibilities:
The candidate specializes in designing aircraft fluid systems, including hydraulic and fuel systems, and managing fuel system architectures and CG considerations. They develop schematics, create fuel burn maps using MATLAB or VBA, and specify test hardware like transducers and flow meters. With experience in turbofan and turboprop engines, they provide innovative solutions, act as a technical liaison with customers and regulators, and contribute to engineering reviews and problem-solving. They ensure compliance, confidentiality, and safety while anticipating future engineering needs and maintaining detailed documentation.
