Client is seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join multidisciplinary team. You will lead the development and integration of advanced spacecraft navigation and autonomy technologies, oversee multidisciplinary teams and subcontractor relationships, secure R&D contracts and new business opportunities, and align technical expertise with strategic objectives to drive innovation and organizational growth. Candidates need a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related STEM filed, and 5-10 years of experience in complex electronics, avionics, or circuit systems design, testing, and development.

responsibilities:
- Lead the development and integration of new optical navigation and spacecraft autonomy capabilities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet system requirements and mission objectives.
- Design and implement real-time image processing systems for spacecraft.
- Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing and system validation.
- Contribute to defining new technologies and capabilities for spacecraft navigation systems.
- Participate in securing R&D contracts to support innovative technological advancements.
- Oversee and manage relationships with external subcontractors.
- Develop partnerships with subcontractors to support organizational goals.
- Build and maintain sbusiness development pipelines.
- Pursue and secure new contracts aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop competitive proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and potential partners.
- Build and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for proposal development and execution.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
- Leverage a management background to ensure effective resource allocation and task prioritization.
- Provide technical oversight to projects as required.
- Ensure the integration of technical expertise into business development activities.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a related STEM field.
- 5-10 years of related professional experience-
- Business Development and Proposal Creation
- Technical Leadership and Execution
- Proficient in the use of lab test equipment, including oscilloscopes, benchtop power supplies, soldering irons, logic analyzers, and digital multimeters.
- Experience in circuit design and simulation, digital signal processing, and/or RF communication systems and protocols.
- Solid understanding of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
- C language
- Ability to interpret schematics and data sheets effectively.
- Familiarity with software development tools, such as makefiles, IDE compilers, debuggers, and target trace.
- Embedded Systems
- Experience with source control and revision systems like Git or Perforce.
