An E&C Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in the Minneapolis, MN area. This role designs, develops, tests, and optimizes machines, structures, or systems by applying engineering principles, ensuring quality, reliability, and efficiency while addressing failures and recommending improvements.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, modeling, and development of machines, structures, or systems.
- Develop functional requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Create simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and validate system performance.
- Design and test individual components for reliability and functionality.
- Integrate components to produce the final product or system.
- Perform tests to determine how machines, structures, or systems operate.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and reliability standards.
- Understand and apply standard engineering principles in design and development.
- Utilize data and analysis to inform decision-making and optimize solutions.
