Permitting Specialist with knowledge of Environmental requirements and laws needed in Akron OH. This person will join an experienced team supporting projects across Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Ideal candidates will have a bachelors degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience with construction permits.

responsibilities:
- Identify and prepare environmental and non-environmental permits through municipalities, townships, counties, and state departments of transportation
- Interpret engineering drawings to identify and develop permits
- Environmental analysis and evaluations
- Support project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS mapping specialists, vegetation management team, Right-of-Way managers and real estate coordinators as required
- Track the status of permit applications and escalate any delays or issues that may impact project timelines.
- Support Client needs as directed
