A Materials Coordinator is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in the Cushing, OK area. The Materials Coordinator manages supply chain operations, including forecasting, inventory accuracy, supplier evaluation, and process optimization, to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with materials, production, and engineering teams, both domestically and internationally, to meet customer requirements at appropriate costs.
- Identify and target areas for cost reduction to optimize operations.
- Manage inventory accuracy while focusing on process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Analyze root causes of inventory issues and develop programs and procedures to eliminate them.
- Assist in developing a formal supplier evaluation process, including metrics for on-time delivery, order accuracy, material quality, and pricing comparisons.
- Oversee distribution capabilities, quality processes, and corrective action procedures.
- Develop and maintain reporting and tracking systems to consolidate monthly data on material returns and issued credits.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and seek opportunities to improve repair and return management practices through benchmarking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience with Oracle or SAP for transactional processes, lookups, and reporting.
