As an Electrical Engineer PE, you will lead the design of advanced electrical systems for educational facilities, managing multiple projects from concept to completion. You'll mentor team members, conduct fieldwork, and contribute to business development efforts while ensuring the highest quality standards in design and delivery. responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality electrical Revit and AutoCAD drawings with minimal supervision.
- Write and edit project specifications to align with client standards and building codes.
- Review and approve shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals for electrical items.
- Conduct fieldwork, and inspections, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Mentor and supervise interns, designers, and EITs in electrical system development.
- Participate in client meetings, events, and business development activities.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and engineering principles.
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering; PE certification in Texas required.
- Minimum of 4 years in MEP consulting with 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Proven expertise in designing lighting, fire alarms, power distribution, and technology systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with MEP systems for educational facilities is preferred.
