Our client, a leader in essential plasma-derived medicines, is seeking a Principal Automation Engineer in the Clayton, NC area. Key qualifications include Delta V5 experience. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering is required. Compensation will be based on experience. Relocation assistance will be provided to the right candidate.

responsibilities:
Experienced in managing medium to small-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and construction, with communication and problem-solving skills. Provides SME leadership in areas like DCS, PLC, SCADA, BAS, robotics, validation, and manufacturing/utilities while developing standards and ensuring adherence to GxP compliance, quality, and validation requirements. Supports project execution, commissioning, and start-up, fostering teamwork and collaboration. Available for after-hours support and additional responsibilities as needed. Supervision may be required as a Principal Engineer.
