A Continuous Improvement Engineer is needed in the Dallas, TX area for one of the world's largest cosmetics company, with activities spanning skin care, sun protection, make-up, perfume, hair care and hair color. This job optimizes productivity and quality through Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and proactive problem-solving while supporting manufacturing processes, tool development, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

responsibilities:
- Create and sustain a culture of continuous improvement by actively managing quality enhancement projects.
- Challenge the status quo as part of daily operations within the section or business unit.
- Solve problems proactively using statistical analysis and corrective actions assigned by the Manufacturing Manager, QA, or EHS teams.
- Implement technical and technological advancements based on problem-solving insights.
- Act in accordance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
- Develop and select tools and fixtures to drive improvements.
- Draft detailed technical specifications for tools and fixtures, considering EHS, ABS, and quality requirements.
- Proficiency in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as ABS, Lean, and Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9000, ISO 9001) and DMAIC framework.
- Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical), Technical, or Business-related fields.
