Our client in Franklin, MA is looking to add a Senior Quality Engineer to their growing team! Candidates will be focusing on our clients top 3 customers with production qualifications for new products/product changes and owning compliance requests.
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering is required for this position as well as 5 years of experience. Candidates will need to be familiar with ISO 9001 regulations as well as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), and Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR).

responsibilities:
- Support the operations team by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality performance metrics, including corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental, health, and safety goals.
- Investigate product complaints and quality issues using methods like PDCA and 8D, ensuring closure in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process, ensuring root cause analysis (RCA) and effective solutions are implemented.
- Oversee the resolution and effectiveness of Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) within required timeframes.
- Utilize problem logs to identify recurring issues, reporting findings to management and product development teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for quality improvement at both the company and customer levels.
- Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to ensure the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and equipment.
- Collaborate with department managers to create, update, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation to support ISO 9001 compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quality-related data.
- Ensure timely product delivery by coordinating quality efforts with operations teams.
- Assist with new product launches by conducting Product Verification Reports (PVR) and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Perform supplier and internal audits to verify compliance with company and industry quality standards.
- Complete customer compliance requests, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to evaluate and resolve product-related issues.
- Provide quality engineering support for all company facilities as needed to maintain and improve quality standards.
