A Construction Project Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization. The Construction Project Engineer is responsible to oversee and coordinate capex and Operating Budgets for commercial and industrial renovation projects. This role requires expertise in managing project budgets, ensuring schedule adherence, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
A successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, with over five years of experience managing complex budgets and overseeing construction projects. They should possess technical expertise in design/build construction engineering and schedule management, along with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.

- Manage overall Capital Budget program and serve as the primary point of contact for Operating Budget oversight
- Develop KPIs and visualization tools to effectively report budget status
- Provide engineering and project management support for non-manufacturing site activities
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and safety, and resolve current issues
- Ensure contractor performance aligns with safety, cost, and schedule expectations
- Develop detailed user criteria and scope of work documentation for project implementation
