A leading EPC firm is seeking an MEP Engineer to join a large infrastructure project on a contract basis out of Kansas City. This role will focus mostly on water/wastewater buildings and power generation facilities and there are multple city locations for this role available.
As MEP Engineer, you will lead green energy initiatives in the design for the HVAC and air systems for large water and energy projects. You will handle CFD (computational fluid dynamics) modeling and ensure proper airflow and cooling for the facility. The MEP Engineer will assist in supporting other facility sections including plumbing, storage, pumps and air compressors. You should have a good understanding of green energy initiatives, HVAC and electrical codes and water and air-cooled chiller plant design.
Candidates should have a mechanical engineering degree or similar with 7 years experience in designing HVAC systems for water treatment or power generation facilities. A PE (professional engineer license) is required. No relocation assistance or per diem at this time. This is a hybrid role and you must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
