A renowned GC is seeking a dynamic Senior Safety Coordinator - Assistant Safety Director to join the team in Fort Wayne, IN. This role is critical to leading and managing safety efforts on large-scale mission-critical, aviation, and other complex projects. The position focuses on fostering a world-class safety culture, mentoring teams, and ensuring compliance with the organization's safety philosophy.
Qualified candidates must have 5-15 years of construction safety experience on large-scale projects, formal training in key safety competencies (e.g., hazardous energy control, crane management, fall prevention), and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A bachelor's degree in Safety Management and certifications such as CSP, CHST, or SMS are preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and mentor teams effectively. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.

- Coordinate training programs, case/injury management, and site-specific insurance efforts
