A mechanical contractor in Cincinnati is looking for a Project Manager/Estimator. Candidates must have industrial construction and rigging experience. Must have a background in putting together customer bids for rigging projects. Should be able to communicate with clients in a professional manner. PM's have ownership of jobs from bid to invoicing. responsibilities:
Heavy Construction Industry Experience required.
Must be knowledgeable in the machinery installation/erection/moving process.
Have effective verbal/written communication skills.
Be detail oriented and able to meet critical deadlines.
Visit jobsite to confirm actual field conditions.
Prepare estimate including all necessary manpower, equipment, subcontractors and materials.
Have knowledge of blueprints, specifications, and contract administration.
Have a working knowledge of safety requirements.
Provide customers with scope letters, work plans, and safety plans.
Serve as a customer relationship manager.
