An Equipment Engineer is needed for a world leader in medical devices that seeks to offer innovative solutions in neurosurgery, and reconstructive and general surgery in the Boston, MA area. The Equipment Engineer is responsible for maintaining GMP facilities and equipment, coordinating cross-functional teams and suppliers for equipment controls, troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement efforts.

responsibilities:
- Maintain state-of-the-art GMP facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate with cross-departmental teams and suppliers for equipment controls and documentation.
- Support the Equipment Management Program.
- Service, installation, calibration, and maintenance of facility utilities and equipment.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Initiate and execute Equipment Impact Assessments on failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Communicate technical information effectively within the team.
- Provide support for On-the-Job Training (OJT) and training documentation.
- strong aptitude for problem-solving and technical concepts.
- Experience with machine shop tools preferred.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technical field.
- 3+ years of experience with calibrations and maintenance activities.
- Regulated industry experience (medical device or pharmaceutical preferred).
