A leading EPC firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its team in Ann Arbor, MI. This senior role will have you serving as technical lead on high voltage substation design projects, dealing with Extra High Voltage systems (500kV to 13.8kV).
The Electrical Engineer will manage budgets and schedules for multiple projects, mentor and assist engineering staff, and prepare detailed deliverables. You should be able to produce one-line and connection diagrams, protection and controls schemtatics, physical substation layouts, surge arrester sizing, voltage drops, conduit fill, lightning protection/grounding drawings, raceway drawings, RTU control lists, and other complex calculations.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. EITs and PEs preferred but not required. A minimum of 8 years of substation design with extra high voltage is required for this role. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
