Our client is seeking an Installation Technician to join the Bender Applications team. This role is essential for ensuring CNC tube bending machines are correctly configured, installed, and operational, requiring mechanical aptitude, hands-on expertise, and preferably prior experience with CNC tube bending.
-Needs to reside 1 hour from Novi, MI site
-75% Travel to client sites
-25/hr - 35/hr DOE
Required:
- basic mechanical and electrical skills
- Basic to Intermediate understanding of CNC machinery-CNC operator
- PLC programming
- 2d/3d design software - solidworks and autocad
- tube bending machine experience

responsibilities:
- Assemble and configure mechanical components of CNC tube bending machines according to specifications, including basic to intermediate electrical wiring.
- Install CNC tube bending machines at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and operational functionality of all components.
- Document the installation process accurately, including configurations, adjustments, and issues encountered.
- Mount and secure tooling to the machine, ensuring proper alignment, setup, and functionality.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation, providing effective solutions.
- Communicate clearly with customers during the installation process, offering instructions and addressing questions or concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
