Our client, an industry leader in entertainment, is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Key qualifications include a minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in the design of heavy mechanical equipment, such as large conveyance systems, automotive, or large robotic systems. The candidate needs to be proficient in utilizing engineering and design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, sciences, or engineering technology is required.

This role manages engineering projects for theme park attractions, including roller coasters, animatronics, transportation, and hotels. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams, conducting design reviews, reporting progress, and ensuring excellent guest experiences. Duties span design, engineering analysis, manufacturing, installation, testing, and project management, while mentoring and compliance with standards are key. The position requires minimal supervision, creativity, and broad decision-making authority.
