Data Center Construction Site Manager needed for a long term construction project in Iowa. The Site Manager will provide overall day to day on-site administrative and technical management of all field related personnel, subcontractors and work activities on a construction project site. These projects will be located in various locations and vary in scope and size. Ideal candidates will have 15+ years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of expeirence in managing Data Center construction. Per Diem and Mobilization available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
- Provide overall day-to-day on-site administrative and technical management of all field-related personnel, subcontractors, and work activities on a construction project site. Projects are located in various locations and vary in scope and size.
- Responsible and accountable for all construction activity on the assigned project site, including safety, quality, project controls, materials, subcontractors, contract execution, client interfaces, client relations, engineering interfaces, and start-up/commissioning interfaces.
- Direct, coordinate, and supervise on-site discipline superintendents, scheduling, engineering, cost control, material control, commercial management, and administrative staff.
- Ensure overall project safety and compliance with applicable Safety and Health Plans, including reviewing and auditing site-specific safety documentation regularly.
- Supervise and direct the construction effort to verify the project is sequenced and constructed according to design, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Ensure efficient use of materials and equipment, and oversee contractual performance of subcontractors and company personnel.
- Enforce compliance with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, and client requirements, documenting violations, notifying project management, and recommending/implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain effective client and subcontractor relationships.
- Interface with client representatives, municipal authorities, and other contractors as necessary.
- Coordinate with Engineering Manager and Discipline Engineers to plan and sequence engineering deliverables and resolve field engineering issues.
- Collaborate with project management team to develop and implement Project Execution Plans, project procedures, working documents, site procedures, and project standards.
- Authorize purchase requisitions for field procurements under supervision of Project Manager.
- Review and approve subcontractor progress payments and supplier invoices under supervision from Project Manager.
- Provide technical assistance, interpretation of drawings, and recommendations on construction methods and equipment installation.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, and review all subordinate and subcontractor field reports.
- Assess future work activities and identify concerns using 3-week look-ahead reports and the overall project schedule.
- Oversee construction progress tracking and forecasting, including Field Progress Measurement Systems and Critical Path Scheduling.
- Oversee the final construction documentation turnover process to clients.
- Provide site oversight and coordination of startup and commissioning teams.
- Supervise compliance with project Quality Management System.
- Oversee craft supervision and project staffing as required.
- Provide oversight of project site material and tool management.
- Responsible for daily field construction of an individual project in accordance with established company policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
- Manage and direct daily construction efforts through coordination of field activities, subcontractor direction, and compliance with codes/specifications.
- Read, interpret, and understand various technical drawings and documents.
